People get shocked when they open the toilet door and many actually put toilet paper on the seat in order to avoid contact between the toilet seat and the buttocks. At first glance, this appears as the right solution. However, it isn’t the most efficient and safe way to avoid bacteria. It’s seems like this could be the worst way!

But toilet seats are designed in a very smart way. Their particular shape and the smooth surface are constructed in a way to prevent bacteria from spreading. This means that bacteria cannot multiply on bare skin, therefore, any contact with the toilet seat is not so bad after all.
