Here is the list:

1.Swelling

This is the most common and usual when kidneys start to not doing the job as they should. The swelling occurs because the body retains the excess water. This will bloat the face, joints, and limbs.

2. Changes in the urination

The most common and early signs are these:

  • Trouble urinating
  • The pressure during the process
  • Dark urine, less frequent urinating and with small amounts
  • Pale colour of urine, frequent and in large amounts

Healthy kidneys produce EPO (erythropoietin), a hormone that makes more red blood cells which bring oxygen to where is needed. If the red blood cells number is lowered, fatigue will occur and it will have an impact on the brain and muscles too. This is also a sign of severe anemia.

5. Shortness of breath

The low level of red blood cells can not supply the organism with the required level of oxygen, which leads that these cells are connected with the piled up of toxins in the lungs which are causing difficulties while breath.

6. Metallic Taste in the mouth

Bad breath and changes in the food taste can be linked to the accumulated waste in the blood and improper kidney’s functions.

7. Pain

This sign is more than an alarming cry for help. The ache in the upper back is another symptom of this condition. Sometimes the pain could be a sign of the kidney infection, kidney failure or kidney stones.
