This ingredients is a stink breath terminator!

Bad breath is an awful start of the day – for you and your partner, or similar awkward situations in the public transport….

What’s a comforting though for you is that a study showed that between 35% and 45% of the world’s population suffers from this condition, also known as malodor (odor in French means smell).

  • So look on the bright side – you’re not the only one and this condition is not a rare one! Even more, it can be treated with natural ingredients.
  • First of all, let’s figure out hot to sense your own morning breath!
  • Stand in front of a mirror and look closely at your tongue. If it’s perfectly pink- no worries! But if it has white freckles it supposes you have a smelly breath.
Lick your hand and smell it – if you sense an unusual smell, you’re suffering from bad breath.

What causes bad breath? Here are the most common causes:

  • Disease – respiratory disease, diabetes, chronic bronchitis, liver diseases etc. can cause bad breath
  • Oral problems – gingivitis, cavities, dirty dentures or that tooth you were planning to fix long ago might be the issue!
  • Dry mouth – Many studies show that the saliva, which is the liquid in our mouth, plays a key role in the odor of the breath. During the night, when we sleep and our mouth is closed, it is not produced as much as when we speak, chew, walk and other daily activities.
  • Similar as the toilet, if you don’t flush – everything, also the smell stays, but if you flush, the bacteria and unwanted things go away.
  • Sleep – if you snore or open your mouth while sleeping, you increase the possibility of having a dry mouth, hence, increase the possibility of bad breath
  • Hygiene – if you don’t wash your teeth regularly, or go to the dentist, this can be the biggest reason your breath smells in the morning
  • What’s good about treating this condition is that you don’t even have to go to the doctor – you can choose from the following natural remedies and try them at home.

Mint – mint is the main ingredient in dental floss, chewing gum, peppermints and other stuff made for bad breath. Why don’t you just take a leaf from a mint plant, wash it good and chew it?

  • Oil pulling – this is an  Ayurvedic  technique. You can take any good smelling oil, such as coconut, citrus oil and swish it in your mouth for about 10 minutes. It is believed that oil pulls out toxins from the mouth and throat, and further more, prevents bacteria to attack the mouth.
  • Don’t skip breakfast – as we mentioned, chewing helps produce more saliva, and more saliva means flushing  bacteria and no bad breath
  • Use spices – using spices, such as cardamom, coriander, cinnamon and such, can not only make your dish more yummy, but also, your breath more fresh!

Oral health is a very important part of your overall health. Further more, when you introduce to someone, you speak and show not only your education and integrity, but also, you’r hygiene.

Who wants a smelly partner or co-worker? Stay hydrated, eat your breakfast and wash your teeth regularly!
